We value the experience and tactics you learned as a Veteran—such as collaboration, critical observation, and problem-solving—can help us tackle the tough challenges of the future.
Nurturing Cyber Expertise and Growing an IT Workforce
CSRA is partnering with Louisiana universities to develop curriculum and provide industry tools and technologies for student learning. Our partners, Louisiana Technical University, Northwestern State University and Bossier Parish Community College, are all committed to expanding their computer science degree programs and increasing student populations that are focused on IT. CSRA advises Louisiana Tech on their cyber engineering curriculum, and our input has given the university real-world applications of cyber technology to better prepare students. We also worked with the university to develop a cyber engineering lab on campus, so students have hands-on experience with next-generation technologies. Les Guice, Louisiana Tech University President, stated: “Our partnership with CSRA is already having positive and sizable impacts across the region, producing a highly skilled workforce that is helping to meet the needs of CSRA while providing excellent career opportunities for our graduates here in North Louisiana. The breadth and variety of learning and career options that have emerged through this partnership have had significant impacts not just on our students and graduates, but also on the people and communities of our region.”
