GDIT’s commercial cloud solutions recognized as best examples of discovery and innovation in government IT.

FAIRFAX, Va. – Washington Technology has announced that General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has won the 2018 Industry Innovation Award. DISA’s milCloud®* 2.0 and Navy SSC PAC commercial cloud solutions were recognized as best examples of discovery and innovation in government IT.

The U.S. Navy’s SSC PAC commercial cloud initiative offers AWS and Azure commercial cloud services, as well as GDIT’s professional services, engineering and technical support and managed services to support the Naval Research & Development Establishment (NR&DE) Commercial Cloud Environment (C2E). The initiative provides the Navy Research, Development, Testing & Evaluation (RDTE) community with easy access to commercial cloud services for a secure development, testing and staging environment.
