Job Description

Electronics Technician Maintenance III

Our electronic technicians apply working technical knowledge to perform tasks in working on various types of electronic equipment. Job specific tasks include: 

  • Perform testing and repair of simple to medium complexity electronic and electromechanical equipment using common hand tools and test equipment (e.g., multimeters, power supplies, signal generators, frequency counters, and oscilloscopes, etc.)   
  • Diagnose and repair items to the component level using common hand tools and test equipment 
  • Assembles cables, components, circuitry and builds prototype or production equipment according to Mil-Spec required schematics, technical manuals, verbal instructions and use knowledge of electronic systems and components

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: High school graduate or equivalent
● Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience
● Required Technical Skills:

  • Must have knowledge and ability to perform component level repairs on simple to medium complexity electronic/electromechanical items 
  • Understanding of basic troubleshooting techniques 


● Security Clearance Level: Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance
● Required Skills and Abilities: Proficiency with common hand and power tools; ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
● Preferred Skills:
● Location: On Customer Site

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $35.70 - $48.30. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
