  • Schedule Option #1:  Candidate will work 2:00pm – 10:00 PM Wednesday through Sunday with Monday and Tuesday off each week

  • Schedule Option #2:  Candidate will work 2:00pm – 10:00 PM Saturday through Wednesday with Thursday and Friday off each week

HOW THE WATCHSTANDER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Serves as a primary liaison between the Government and other Federal agencies, and security providers regarding Residential, Travel, Cybersecurity, and Law Enforcement initiatives.

  • Represents the Government in partner agency command and operations centers; facilitates the timely exchange of security related information.

  • Maintains awareness of and provides information regarding security policies and services to the Government’s customers. Receives and processes requests for support.

  • Maintains situational awareness of ongoing security events.

  • Utilizes technology tools such as geospatial software and databases to monitor implementation of security programs.

  • May be required to return to his/her duty station or work remotely during off-duty hours to provide support during crisis periods or to address emergent threats.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: BA/BS           

  • Required Experience: Minimum 1 year of security and/or customer service experience.

  • Security Clearance Level:  Top Secret Eligibility Required

  • Required Skills and Abilities: Strong verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, dynamic environment; ability to convey conceptual ideas both written and verbally; strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook); customer service and problem-solving skill are essential.

  • Preferred Skills:  Experience with common operational picture tools such as WebEOC, geospatial software, and related databases; security coordination and program management experience; experience briefing senior leadership and/or officials

  • Location: On Customer Site, Washington, DC.  No remote work options

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
