Job Description

GDIT is searching for a Sr. Web Developer to join our EMITS Program team supporting U.S. Army Europe in Mons Belgium.

HOW A SR. WEB DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Configures COTS (Commercial off the Shelf) business applications and in-house developed solutions

  • Consults and collaborates with business leaders, end user, IT staff, vendors, and other third parties and is involved in every phase of application development lifecycle.

  • Collaborates with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new applications

  • Designs creative prototypes according to specifications

  • Tests code and conducts functional and non-functional testing

  • Enhance applications to automate business process as best possible

  • Review and analyze software defects

  • Troubleshoot/debug/identify malfunctioning systems and implement software fixes

  • Performs other duties as directed

  • Strong problem solving skills required

  • Must have strong customer service and communications skills (written and verbal)

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Experience: 5 years of related job experience required.

  • Education: BA/BS Degree – may substitute additional years of experience

  • Security Clearance Required: Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance.

  • Certification: DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SharePoint 2016 or 2019 experience

  • Related SharePoint training/certification

  • Substantial experience with custom solution development

  • SharePoint infrastructure maintenance and security hardening

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $88,275 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
