HOW AN NIPRNet IA LEAD WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Perform and/or oversee systems analysis of highly complex computer and networking systems.
  • Work in conjunction with architecture, engineering, and sustainment to provide overall integration of systems peripherals so that they operate correctly within the DHA NIPRNet environment.
  • Provide guidance and direction to junior and mid-level staff.
  • Develop or assist with creation of technical documentation to include but not limited to detailed installation procedures, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles.
  • Perform independent thinking, complete complex tasks with little to no supervision.
  • May supervise others.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Master’s Degree or equivalency

  • Experience:

  • Eight (8) years of progressive experience (with Masters)
  • Ten (10) years of progressive experience (Bachelors)
  • Twelve (12) years of progress experience (HS Diploma)

  • Security clearance level: Secret

  • Certifications:
    • IAT II certifications as approved by customer (e.g. MCSA, RHCA, MCSE, VMWare, AWS, Citrix, NetApp)

  • Skills and abilities:

  • In-depth and hands-on experience in the administration of physical and cloud-based compute, network, and storage systems in a DHA MEDCOI and/or DoD NIPRNet environment.
  • Expert-level experience with administration, and management of enterprise systems using Microsoft, VMWare, NetApp, Citrix, and RedHat technologies.
  • Proficiency in system virtualization using VMWare and related technologies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cloud based and hybrid system architectures using AWS, Azure, and/or Oracle Cloud in a DHA and/or DoD environment.

  • Location: On Customer Site

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $116,979 - $155,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
