The Systems Engineer Senior is a strong, self-motivated, solution-oriented individual who will be joining an experienced team to support the implementation and sustainment of multiple networks. We are looking for an experienced, innovative and enthusiastic systems engineer to join us in delivering high quality IT systems.
HOW A SYSTEMS ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Provide operational support and troubleshooting for software, portals, Sharepoint, and collaborative tool sets.
Design, develop, evaluate, and modify SharePoint and portal compute environments throughout the technology life cycle.
Participate in system conceptual design and documentation for new enterpise collaborative platforms.
Determine system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
Provide system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance as needed.
Provide input to briefings, transitioning concepts to execution, course of action (COA) development, and assisting in project technical planning and implementation.
Develop standard operation procedures (SOPs) and system documentation.
Collaborate with managers, network engineers, team members, and customers on solutions and issues.
Review, analyze, and verify current security configuration and effectiveness in response to DoD requirements and emerging threats.
Develop Statements of Work (SOW) for development projects and subcontractor agreements.
Interface with customers, create briefings and provide professional engagements.
Achieve and maintain Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance.
May be required to perform duties outside of normal day shift hours.
Mentor and coach less experienced system administrators and engineers.
Participate in special projects as assigned.
Continuous improvement mindset to ensure quality of delivered services.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Experience: 5+ years of technical experience building, maintaining and supporting Microsoft technologies and related platforms: Active Directory configuration and management, Windows Server 2016/2019, PowerShell, or software development. Demonstrated strong working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint Server.
Education: BA/BS required
Skills: Understanding of Agile, ITIL, DevOps practices.
Security Clearance Required: Secret clearance.
Certifications: Must be IAT level II compliant with DoD 8570.1. Must meet DoD 8570.1 Computing Environment requirements; ITIL V4 Foundation within six months of hire.
May be required to work evening, weekend, and holiday hours as required.
Must be eligible for and receive Belgian Status of Forces Agreement approval.
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or equivalent training.
Experience implementing and supporting a mid-size MS SharePoint farm.
Experience with Azure deployments and sustainment.
Experience with SCSM and/or ServiceNow.

U.S. Citizenship Required
The likely salary range for this position is $101,566 - $132,636. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
