Senior Subcontracts Administrator

Our work depends on Senior Subcontracts Administrator joining our team to support the Defense Agencies Subcontract team and the Contracts & Acquisition Management Office.

HOW A SENIOR SUBCONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Participates in the development, negotiation, and administration of assigned NDAs, TAs, Subcontracts, commercial agreements, and other related agreements in accordance with client requirements, local laws and GDIT policies and procedures
  • Participates in the capture process by communicating and understanding the GDIT solution and sharing that with the subcontractor teammates and providers in order to obtain data calls (i.e., pricing, past performance, and due diligence), assessing the responses received, and coordinating communications
  • Ensures timely processing of subcontract administrative actions, including initial award documentation, funding modifications, ceiling increases, and other miscellaneous adjustments to the subcontract agreement
  • Performs Cost & Price Analysis of Subcontractor Proposed Pricing to ensure it is fair and reasonable for proposal submissions and subcontract awards
  • Creates and maintains compliant audit files in accordance with customer requirements, local laws, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and GDIT policies and procedures
  • Ability to work closely with a remote team
  • Team player who is willing to jump in and help others Subcontracts Administrators meet critical deadlines and is willing to at times work additional hours to meet mission needs
  • Ability to quickly move from one action to another with a strong memory and attention to detail
  • Generates reports or responses to data calls on subcontract activity as required
  • Serves as a liaison and facilitator between the program team and the subcontractor regarding contracting issues
  • Initiates and maintains a network of communication with GDIT internal stakeholders as well as external suppliers
  • Participates in special projects as required
  • Mentors Junior Team Members


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree. In lieu of degree, 9+ years of related subcontracts administration experience required.
  • Required Experience: 5+ years of related subcontracts administration experience
  • Required Technical Skills: Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite including word and excel
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Effective administrative and organizational skills both written and oral. Ability to juggle multiple RFPs and subcontracts status and actions. Effective communication skills. Ability to operate and negotiate independently and escalating when necessary.
  • Preferred Skills: Ability to read local counsel opinions and apply to GDIT and the program needs and constraints. Problem solving skills and ability to juggle a volume of different activities on any given day. Customer service skills, attention to detail, and responsiveness and highly productive in high stress situations.
  • Location: This is a hybrid position working at our GDIT Facility in Falls Church, VA. Must be comfortable working onsite 3 days a week.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $79,747 - $92,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
