Job Description

Ensure the safety and security of our nation as a Cyber Technical Analyst Senior at GDIT. You’ll apply the latest technology and provide operational support to deliver actionable intelligence for the Intelligence Community. Our work depends on a Cyber Technical Analyst Senior joining our team who has at least 5+ years of cyber expertise in the area of operations, analysis and virtual operations to support customer requirements. TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

HOW A CYBER TECHNICAL ANALYST SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Plans, prepares, and executes tests of systems to evaluate results against specifications and requirements as well as analyze/report test results

  • Performs assessments of systems and networks within the network environment or enclave and identifies where those systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy

  • Performs analyses to validate established security requirements and to recommends additional security requirements and safeguards

  • Performs forensic analysis of digital information and gathers and handles evidence. Identifies network computer intrusion evidence and perpetrators

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience with network pcap, logs and records

  • Demonstrated excellent briefing skills, and written and verbal communications regarding program dynamics, plans and operations to leadership, senior leadership and relevant partners

  • Demonstrated experience interpreting and communicating complex cyber issues to customers with a wide range of technical expertise

  • Demonstrated experience delivering timely support and error-free products on short deadlines

  • Demonstrated experience with customer tools

Desired Qualifications:

  • Chinese language

  • Experience with Python

  • Familiarity working in command line within both Windows and Linux OS

  • Experience developing products and supporting briefings to review boards

  • Experience engaging formally and informally with local and dispatched components

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Bachelor of Science or better in Computer Science with a minimum of 5+ years as a Technical Targeter

  • Location: On Customer Site

  • TS/SCI with SCI Poly clearance

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $116,979 - $146,050. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
