Job Description

GDIT is seeking an Intelligence Analyst/Trainer to support U.S. Army Europe as a member of our EMITS program team in Mons Belgium.

HOW AN INTEL TRAINING SPECIALIST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Participates in the development, testing, maintenance and delivery of training programs and related materials in support of customer training objectives.
  • Assists in the development and establishment of course content and objectives.
  • Conducts training sessions and assists in evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
  • Maintains records of training activities, participant progress and program effectiveness.
  • Updates course documentation on a regular basis to ensure timeliness and relevance.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.
  • Participates in special projects as required in support of NSHQ.
  • Participate in special projects as required.
  • Knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and applicable regulations involved in intelligence analysis.
  • Familiarity with U.S. dissemination processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of U.S. FDO processes, procedures, and regulations.
  • Experience researching and writing intelligence reports.
  • Specific certifications or military education/training may be required, depending on job assignment.
  • Participate in bi-monthly training meetings and training sessions, with other emits trainers located in various Combatant Commands around the world, to stay connected on key enterprise-wide training issues

Information Knowledge Management (I-KM) Support

  • Develop and maintain on-line users’ guides and provide training in all aspects of emits and NATO UNCLASSIFIED NETWORK (NUN) operations.
  • Understand and train on policies, procedures, resources available, and use of automated tools that enable EMITS and NUN services. 
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the capabilities of emits and NUN tools and the operational support infrastructure. 
  • Provide enterprise level training to all NSHQ account holders on KM tools and I-KM principles.
  • Provide hands on technical training for in-house applications on a group level.
  • Provide technical training for in-house applications; one-on-one for VIP users when requested.
  • Produce and make available online training for in-house applications
  • Collect and provide product feedback to NSHQ KM Officer.Assist the EMITS Capability with developing and implementing a Knowledge Management Implementation Plan (KMIP).

Training support

  • Deliver local, virtual, mobile, and resident course training around NSHQ specific applications and EMITS services. All categories of users, including intelligence personnel, managers, and operators, will have available content-based, timely training. Training will include policies, procedures, resources available, and use of automated tools that enable EMITS services.
  • Develop and publish lesson plans and constantly monitor, review, and tailor all training related materials to remain consistent and relevant to newly released production capabilities. Training materials shall be updated within thirty days of capability releases.
  • Create/maintain and enhance all EMITS on-line modules, or pre-recorded instruction materials, to support training requirements via download and/or on-line accesses. New users affected by an approved site/capability expansion/new expansion will be provided training by the advisor.
  • Provide training support and materials for U.S. and familiarization for foreign users on EMITS systems, applications, and capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain on-line users’ guides and provide all aspects of EMITS operations.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the capabilities of EMITS tools and the operational support infrastructure.
  • Incorporate Federated TNE Infrastructure (FTI) training materials provided to them as Government Furnished Property (GFP), as appropriate.

1.3 Exercise and Engagement Support

  • Establish relationships within the supported command to assist in managing intelligence; conduct outreach activities to foster these relationships.
  • Provide Intelligence, Operations, and Exercise support for SHAPE.
  • Assist users employing EMITS in their intelligence functions, including identifying what capabilities and applications can be utilized in order to best support host nation’s missions.
  • Assist intelligence personnel in implementing security guidelines for releasability of information to be disseminated via EMITS.
  • Assist Host nation personnel in providing intelligence advisory support in the usage of EMITS multilateral and bilateral networks.
  • Assist host nation personnel in provision of EMITS services liaison support in both local, mobile and virtual environments.
  • Provide direct support to exercises (proposed, additional unit level can be expected), which includes deployed on-site support if requested:
    • TRIDENT JAGUAR Series
    • TRIDENT JUPITER Series
    • STEADFAST COBALT
    • STEADFAST JUPITER/JACKAL Series
    • BRILLIANT and NOBLE Series
    • All other exercises as specified by hosting command and agreed upon by EMITS Capability
  • Participate in exercise planning conferences as requested.
  • Provide support training and guidance to users of deployed networks such as flyaway kits.
  • Liaison with NCIA, BGX and other technical authorities as required to maintain EMITS interoperability with NATO networks. 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience required.
  • Security Clearance Required: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance. 
  • Education: BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Additional Requirements: Must have a valid US driver’s license
  • Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and applicable regulations involved in intelligence analysis. 5+ years of experience required, Intel field, Military, Training, Coalition Systems essential. Additional specific certifications may be required, depending on job assignment. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting multinational customers preferred.
  • Experience operating in coalition systems environments preferred.

    Salary and Benefit Information

    The likely salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
