Job Description

The Database Developer will work with our data warehousing team to transform transactional data into datasets that are consumable by a variety of consumers, for reporting and analytics. The successful candidate will be flexible and forward-leaning, able to learn new tools and skills, and able to learn new data domains as the data warehouse grows.

HOW A DATABASE DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Candidate must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a CBP public trust.

Candidate must be local to the National Capital Region
 

Clearance: Active Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Public Trust or similar clearance that will gain reciprocity

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong experience creating complex SQL in complex data environments

  • Strong experience troubleshooting and tuning SQL
  • Team-focused approach
  • Bachelor’s Degree plus at least 3- 5 years of experience
  • Location Ashburn, VA: Hybrid

  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle and DB2 (or at least one of these)
  • Experience in government environment

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $79,747 - $90,850. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
