Job Description

This position requires working onsite in our Chantilly, VA office location five (5) days per week. This position is best suited for an individual who is confident working without in-person team support and displays the knowledge to troubleshoot and solve customer requests.

HOW A SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN IV WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Provides installation, maintenance and troubleshooting support of information systems applications and related peripheral hardware
  • Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (switches, printers etc.)
  • Check computer hardware (HDD, mice, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality
  • Install and configure appropriate software (Win10-11) and functions according to specifications
  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
  • Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, etc.)
  • Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
  • Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Associates Degree required
● Required Experience: 3+ years of technical / vocational IT experience

● Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds; work on ladders and pull wiring/cables

● Desire to delight and deescalate customer issues and requests
● US Citizenship required

● Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI POLY clearance

● It would be nice to have an ITIL cert or other IT-related certifications

● Location: Onsite in Chantilly, VA office 5 days/week

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $33.30 - $40.96. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
