Quality Analysis Supervisor

Job Description

First-level manager responsible for managing the activities of supervisors and/or individual contributors who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments.

Manages the quality analysis process and provides leadership to supervisors to ensure the external and internal requirements are met before the products/services are delivered.

Manages the testing status and provides second-level management with regular updates.

Manages and mitigates issues with advanced solutions for minimal business impact.

Lead regular meetings to cultivate effective working relationships between cross-functional groups for the development of action plans to address quality issues.

Manages the quality assurance trainings and ensures trainings meet quality requirements.

QMS Requirements

  • Act as site representative and liaison to the Sector QMS/EHS Lead. Act as the site location single point of contact for all QEHS related items.
  • Know how to access and be familiar with applicable GDIT and DEF-level QMS policies, procedures, instructions, and work instructions posted on GDIT Connect (Program Support Center (PSC) /Policies) and other applicable sections) and provide assistance and direction regarding these sites to others, as needed. Review and assist in the implementation of applicable QMS policies, procedures, instructions, and work instructions at the designated site locations.
  • Ensure that personnel are informed of QEHS requirements that affect the Business Area and specific site location, and that those requirements are implemented.
  • Attend required QEHS meetings and distribute information from meetings to personnel.
  • Support the Division/Sector/Business Area QMS Leads by responding to required data call information and by assisting in the completion of required action items resulting from QMS meetings.
  • Perform regular surveillances to ensure site personnel familiar with QMS responsibilities.
  • Participate and lead with QEHS surveillances such as periodic general inspections and focused audits/assessments.
  • Conduct site location pre-audit preparation for internal and external audits to ensure sites are adequately prepared for upcoming audits.
  • Participate in site location internal and external QEHS Audit activities, as directed.
  • Track corrective actions for audit findings to closure.
  • Monitor responsiveness and implementation of corrective actions for Process Improvement Requests (PIRs) written against your Business Area/location specific programs, and ensure that the PIRs are closed in a timely manner.
  • Monitor effectiveness of corrective actions from PIRs and audit findings with focused follow-up surveillances.
  • Coordinate with the site location Records Assistant to ensure implementation of the Records Management Program and completion of requirements.
  • Coordinate with Program Managers in the implementation of required Program/Project Plans.
  • Provide QMS input to management meetings
  • Develop and present QMS information, data analysis and other materials for QMS Meeting
  • Schedule and lead regular QMS meetings

Desired Skills

  • Experienced with MS Office applications including SharePoint site development and maintenance
  • Knowledgeable about QMS metrics, data collection, analysis and presentation to identify trends.
  • Critical thinking/process improvement mindset

SCOPE: Manages one or more small to medium sized teams focused on a few or multiple areas. Low to Medium complexity.

QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience, Internal Auditor Certification, experience with ISO 9001, 14001, & 18001/45001 is required, Maritime and Navy work preferred.

Must be a US Citizen.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $83,429 - $97,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
