Job Description

Quality Assurance Representative III (Electrical)

The Quality Assurance Representative III ensures all products meet internal and external requirements and standards.   Products include, but are not limited to, electrical wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, and electronic enclosures.  The Quality Assurance Representative III must become knowledgeable about internal and external procedures, customer requirements, industry standards, and work with a high degree of detail and accuracy.

HOW A QUALITY ASSURANCE REPRESENTATIVE III WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Perform inspections and test on electrical cables, components, and assemblies.

  • Accurately document inspection and test results.

  • Document and report non-conformances.

  • Undergo training when necessary.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to enhance quality control processes.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • IPC J-STD-001 Certification.

  • IPC-610 and IPC-620 Certifications a plus.

  • 3+ years of experience with electrical testing and related equipment.  Common test performed include, but are not limited to, continuity, resistance, insulation resistance and dielectric withstanding.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.

  • Basic measuring skills using tape measures and calipers.

  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.

  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

  • US Citizenship Required

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $21.97 - $26.45. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
