HOW A NETWORK COMPUTER SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (W), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system.

  • Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.

  • May monitor and test Web site performance to ensure Web sites operate correctly and without interruption.

  • May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.

  • May supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists.

  • May administer network security measures to include firewall administration/management.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Required Education and Experience: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree + 8 years

  • Certifications: DoD Manual 8570.01-M at the Information Assurance Technical (lAT) Level II role

  • Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a CI Polygraph

  • Location: On Customer Site

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $134,597 - $180,716. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
