Our Drafter position will challenge you to use your skills to create and draft electronic architecture infrastructure while also providing Technical Editor skills to edit, create, review, and update technical documents for the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command located at Fort Huachuca, Arizona.
HOW A DRAFTER AND TECHNICAL EDITOR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Works with Project Managers and engineers to draft and create products used in the NETCOM IT arena
● Prepares and maintains blueprints, maps, charts, graphs, and other technical drawings using AutoCAD
● Researches, prepares, and edits technical documents
● Works with a team and document authors to deliver documents that include highly technical content yet comply with the Army Writing Style
● Draft, write, edit, proofread, and provide comments to team documents
● Ensure documents are in the correct format, are grammatically correct, contain proper
capitalization, use of typefaces, numerals, compound words, spacing before and after dashes and
symbols, and use of correct spelling and grammar. Table of contents agrees with heading in text, and page numbers are correct. Tables, figures, references, equations, and footnotes numbered and identified correctly, and references to other documents are accurate.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Bachelor's Degree or additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
● Required Experience: 2+ years of related experience
● Required Technical Skills: AutoCAD experience a must
● Security Clearance Level: Must have or be able to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance
● Required Skills and Abilities: communication, problem solving, IT troubleshooting
● Preferred Skills: Must be fluent with Microsoft Office 2007 and higher editions, MS WORD, MS EXCEL, MS POWERPOINT, MS OUTLOOK, MS PROJECT

The likely salary range for this position is $51,000 - $69,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
