Our work depends on a Pharmacy Informaticist joining our team to support the Indian Health Services (IHS) Electronic Health Records Modernization (EHRM) program. As a Pharmacy Informaticist supporting the IHS EHRM program, you will be responsible for supporting the client for clinical support.

HOW A PHARMACY INFORMATICIST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Serve as an expert role model in promoting the understanding, integration, and application of information technology in healthcare settings.
  • Help design, configure, activate, and support the implementation of Oracle Health EHR (Millennium) solutions at the Indian Health Service.
  • Mentor client project teams as necessary in project and system build strategy.
  • Act as a consulting professional who has an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family.
  • Consult with clients on service line workflow, and guide them through interdependencies and design decision impacts.
  • Provide solution oversight, direction and expertise to stakeholders.
  • Drive client-specific solution configuration design to meet workflow requirements and make recommendations to clients.
  • Mitigate solution risks and issues and execute workflow and process improvement strategies.
  • Lead client meetings and events.
  • Work closely with project leadership on documentation of issues and facilitation of solutions
  • Analyze and monitor workflows, providing documentation and optimization suggestions.
  • Engage in evaluation and testing of new technologies.
  • Maintain strong communications with project leader, manager, and team leader as well as other team and staff members, end-users, and vendors to ensure a productive and cooperative environment.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8+ years of experience supporting medium to large IT projects.
  • Knowledge of Indian Health Services workflows.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with the Oracle Health electronic health record.
  • Experience acting as a consulting professional with an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family.
  • Experience driving client-specific solution configuration design that meets workflow requirements.
  • Experience mitigating solution risks and issues and executing workflow and process improvement strategies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft products.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the year, if needed.

SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL:

  • Must be able to obtain a public trust clearance, which requires residency in the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $120,701 - $163,301. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
