Sr. Web Developer

Primarily responsible for the coding of the internet-based products that support the dissemination and tracking of content to the desired audience. Leverages modern technologies to provide maximum exposure across a spectrum of end user devices. Supports publishing operations as required.  

Roles: 

• Web applications are primarily written in Ruby on Rails on Linux and deployed in AWS using MySQL 

• Participates in the design and development of web applications, services, or technologies 

• Works within a team environment using Confluence, Jira, and Slack to manage, assign and collaborate on work tasks 

• Develops modern web interfaces using JavaScript and associated technologies 

• Reviews projects’ ability to deliver robust and scalable solutions, learning and incorporating new technologies as appropriate 

• Participates in Agile project management methodologies to support all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)  

Skills: 

• Experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, JavaScript) and open-source technologies (Linux, Django) 

• Knowledge of web application framework development, user interface development, and database technologies 

Qualifications: 

• EDUCATION: BA/BS or equivalent in Computer Science or related fields 

• EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of experience 

• CLEARANCE: Current DoD SECRET clearance
