Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Global Payroll Analyst (LATAM) to join our dynamic team in Falls Church, Virginia. ***This position requires your presence in the office three days per week. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing payroll processes for our Latin American operations, ensuring compliance with regional regulations, and providing insights and support to our global payroll team. This role will support Global Payroll processing across the GDIT enterprise; Lead setup and registration in assigned countries, operations, management, and maintenance of non-U.S. payrolls; Manage the procedures and service of non-U.S. tax and payroll forms via a department shared global payroll e-mail account; Assist to create and implement policies, procedures, instructions and forms; Support change management, training, audits, Corporate Tax and Finance projects as needed.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Manage and administer assigned countries foreign payrolls
    • Coordinate enterprise schedules with points-of-contact, vendors, and AP-Treasury,
    • Oversee vendor performance and services,
    • Align new and existing programs to procedures and schedules,
    • Review and approve foreign payrolls from vendors,
    • Coordinate new payroll setups,
    • Research payroll requirements in foreign countries,
    • Develop and manage year end processes,
    • Develop and monitor foreign payroll schedules,
    • Create rosters and reporting with vendors and internal stakeholders,
    • Monitor and QA systems for changes, variances, exceptions, and ad-hoc payroll processing,
    • Ensure cost estimation for services and cost allocation for invoices are processed on a timely basis.
    • Work with Global Payroll Manager to develop and implement policies and procedures for Global Employees
    • Work with IHR Benefits Analyst to process benefits on behalf of Global Employees
    • Develop, maintain, and track Time and Reporting Procedures for Global Employees across countries.
    • Maintain Leave Accrual process and procedures for Global Employees across countries
  • Maintain records including HRIS, Shared Network folders, Citrix ShareFile, and hard-copy files;
  • Monitor department foreign payroll e-mail account;
  • Assist Global Payroll Manager in change management: draft policies, procedures, instructions, and forms, train stakeholders, and support change activities;
  • Generate reports for internal and external use; and
  • Back-up support to other IHR team members for other duties. 


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar discipline
  • 3+ years payroll experience. (In lieu of degree, 7 yrs of related work experience is required)
  • 1+ years relevant experience in non-U.S. payroll(s) with strong preference for Mexico or Colombia
  • Fluency in business-oriented Spanish with ability to operate payroll and general business in Spanish. 
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication (written and verbal) skills. 
  • Required Technical Skills: MS Office with strong Excel skills, HRIS systems, Payroll Systems
  • Preferred Skills:
    • ShareFile and other records and collaboration systems, change management project experience, and payroll implementations, prefer APA certified payroll professional (CPP) or equivalent certification or coursework preferred.   
    • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
  • Location: Hybrid, Falls Church, VA - 3 days/week

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $62,985 - $85,215. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
