Job Description

GDIT is looking for Executive Communications Lead for the USCENTCOM CITS Program supporting USCENTCOM in Tampa, FL. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operations, maintenance, network engineering, and customer services for mobile communications equipment and networks for senior leaders at USCENTCOM.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Leads a team responsible for the O&M, network engineering and customer support for mobile communications equipment, Information Systems, and networks on behalf of the Commander, Deputy Commander, USCENTCOM VIP’s, and supporting staff members. The team also provides O&M and installation support for computer systems, communications, and any other supporting equipment located at the residences of the Commander, Deputy Commander, USCENTCOM VIPs and their staff members.  The team provides specific detailed information needed to support the selection of hardware and software and the identification of implementation techniques/tools that provide efficient solutions for meeting current and future business needs.

Education and/or Certifications:
Required:

- Associate’s Degree and 10 years of experience developing technical solutions for complex IT engineering efforts (significant education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree)

- DoD 8140 (8570) IAT-II level certification

Desired:

- ITIL v3 or 4 Foundation Certification

Required Skills:

- A minimum of three years of experience leading an Executive Communications Team and/or mobile IT teams in support of senior leaders, in the past seven years.

- Experience troubleshooting wireless components, firewalls, routing and switching, IPV6, and VPN, in the past seven years.

- Experience working communications enroute via military aircraft, within the past seven years.

- Experience leading networking and infrastructure teams within geographically dispersed locations across classified and unclassified networking and infrastructure environments, in the past seven years.

- Experience in the design, installation, administration, and troubleshooting of desktop, networking, and unified communications infrastructure in a classified environment, in the past seven years.

- Experience with remote communications equipment, mobile and deployable network communications systems, and strategic and tactical multi-channel satellite systems, within the last seven years.

Clearance Requirement:
- Active TS/SCI clearance eligibility required

Travel Requirements:

- Estimated 10-20% travel required

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $140,250 - $189,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
