Software Engineer Associate - Software Engineer - Secret Clearance required

Our work depends on Software Engineer Associate joining our team to support the Advanced Training Domain and Joint After Action Review (JAAR), shore and shipboard applications.

HOW A SOFTWARE ENGINEER ASSOCIATE WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Designs, develops, evaluates, plans and tests engineering specifications for software programs and applications
● Work with team and customer for sprint planning, execution and reviews.
● Formulate software solutions, explore problematic areas and investigate issues. Create and showcase solutions by generating documentation, code comments and clear coding practices.
● Conduct developer testing in both lab enviroments and aboard ship when required, to verify software executing in line with requirements.
● Limited travel in support of software install and testing.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
● Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience
● Required Technical Skills: Experience implementing Agile/Scrum software development cycles. Experience with C# and Postgress++ software development.
● Security Clearance Level: Secret
● Nice to have Skills and Abilities: Operational or development knowledge of training systems. Experience with JIRA and subversion.
● Must earn Security + certification within 90 days of hire.
● Location: Remote - must be near Virginia Beach
● US Citizenship Required

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $68,000 - $92,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
