HOW A SITE MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • The Site Manager shall be responsible for the performance of the work of all contractors at Sagami Japan MTC and have decision-making authority to respond to task order requirements.
  • Site Manager works collaboratively and in concert with GDIT Task Order Manager and Sagami MTC Director.
  • Have good communication skills, logical thinking, and interpersonal skills to resolve issues and develop feasible courses of action.
  • Capable of collaborating with senior Army, Joint, and Bilateral leadership as MTC SME.
  • Site Manager serves as the principle point of contact with the MTC Director for all technical requirements in the task order and supervisor for contract employees assigned to the MTC.
  • Have requisite leadership, managerial, and technical skills essential for accomplishing all day-to-day operations for the MTC.
  • Perform other duties as required.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: BS/BA; U.S. Army MEL IV qualified or equivalent ILE; MEL I preferred, or DoD Civilian Schooling
  • Required Experience: Ten years of experience supervising at least 20 employees.  Eight years’ experience with military training and training support operations.  3 years of experience with military simulations within the last 10 years.  3 years management experience in a contract with similar size, scope, and complexity; Retired Field Grade Officer preferred; Joint military experience preferred
  • Required Technical Skills: Robust understanding of the Army Mission Command Training Support Program and United States Army Japan (USARJ) MTC operations.  Robust knowledge of United States Forces Japan JLVC training initiative; Technical expertise in the Joint Event Life Cycle; demonstrated understanding of MC systems.
  • Security Clearance Level: SECRET clearance required with the ability to obtain TS/SCI
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Superb presentation and communication skills; strong ability to advise and educate leadership through non-technical terms; Experience with modelling and simulations systems and concepts; and ability to produce senior level briefings.
  • Location: On Customer Site Sagamihara Japan / some travel required to other customer sites throughout AoR
  • US Citizenship Required

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $101,566 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
