Our work depends on a Procurement Analyst Senior joining our team to evolve and maintain network infrastructure for the Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration.

JOB DUTIES:

•    Procures, sources, and negotiates the buying of materials, equipment, and/or services Keep records of all acquisitions to ensure that purchases remain within budget and on schedule
•    Manage inventory levels and receive requisitions, checking each item for quantity, specifications, and delivery requirements
•    Manage equipment, software, peripherals, services and spare parts to meet Service Levels, minimize downtime and minimize NNSA resource requirements. 
•    Develop and investigate supply sources and issue request proposals, quotations or bids for those items not covered by any existing purchasing agreement
•    Conducts logistics and procurement actions to include finalization of Bill of Materials (BOMs), preparation and submission of purchase requisitions, gathering and updating delivery timelines, and obtaining status through communications with vendors.
•    Oversees supplier invoice process to ensure timely processing and payment. Performs administrative and analytical tasks in support of assigned programs.
•    Assists in developing plans, including budgets and schedules, and monitoring tasks, to meet contractual/project requirements for assigned programs.
•    Assists senior personnel in defining program requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
•     Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Substitutions will be based on additional years of experience)
•    Required Experience: 10+ years of related experience 
•    Required Technical Skills: Procurement, Inventory Management, Invoicing, Budgeting, Logistics, Forecasting and Reporting
•    Security Clearance Level: DOE Q or TS
•    Required Skills and Abilities: Written and Oral Communication; Organization, Problem Solving, Communication, and Teamwork.
•    Location: Germantown. MD (Hybrid)
•    US Citizenship Required

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $75,574 - $102,246. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
