HOW THE SOFTWARE DEVELOPER ASSOCIATE WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Provides support to all phases of the software development lifecycle
  • Applies knowledge in analyzing user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems to meet those needs
  • Provides support for software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging to meet business needs
  • Provides analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, or status
  • Provides knowledge and support on the software or system process for optimal documentation and future maintenance and updates

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: BA/BS (or equivalent experience)
  • Required Experience: 0+ years of relevant experience
  • Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/ Polygraph (Eligible)
  • Required Technical Skills: Knowledge/experience in one or more of the following:
    • Back-end Development: Experience with Java, Python
    • Front-end Development: Course or internship experience with UI/UX design concepts and frameworks (CSS/HTML, JavaScript ie Angular, Vue, Reacts) 
    • Experience with data engineering or machine learning technologies. (Apache Spark, Redshift, Snowflake, supervised and unsupervised models)
    • Experience with Cloud native technologies (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure)
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated interpersonal skills; the ability to work effectively as a member of an integrated team; the ability to work in a fast-paced, technically challenging area; the ability to anticipate changes/problems, assess impacts and make sound recommendations; strong desire to utilize new technology to meet mission needs, quickly research new technology, and derive larger themes from disruptive technology.
  • Preferred Skills: Internship experience in Software Development/ Object Orientated Software Development/ Cloud Engineering/ Automated Testing/ Data Development; Professional IT Certification(s)
  • Location: Customer Site

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $75,574 - $102,246. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
