Network Integration Lab Technician
Oversee complex programs that drive impactful mission outcomes for our customers as a Network Integration Lab Technician supporting our Base Infrastructure Modernization contract in Oklahoma City, OK. The Network Integration Lab Technician will provide network integration lab support to include basic router and switch configurations, unpacking and packing equipment, assisting with shipping, maintaining racks and cabinets, and conducting inventory of network assets and test equipment. The lab will support multiple projects such as Next Generation Gateway and Base Infrastructure Modernization.
MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Network Integration Lab Technician, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of our USAF customers. You will play a crucial role in staging, configuration, and packing/shipping of network equipment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
● Performing basic router and switch configurations, unpacking and packing equipment, assisting with shipping, maintaining racks and cabinets, and conducting inventory of network assets and test equipment
● Collaborate with network engineers and program managers to meet project goals and deadlines.
● Maintain a lab environment in a safe and organized manner.
● Utilize Microsoft Excel to update system data.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED - REQUIRED:
Bring your network technician expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Network Integration Lab Technician MUST have:
● Citizenship: US citizenship
● Security clearance: Ability to obtain and retain a Secret clearance
● Education: Associates of Applied Science, OR equivalent experience in lieu of degree
● Experience: 3+ years of related experience
● Technical Skills:
Perform basic router and switch configurations to ensure network functionality and integration.
Unpack, pack, and assist with the shipping of network equipment.
Maintain and organize network racks and cabinets, including moving equipment as needed.
Conduct inventory of network assets and test equipment to ensure accurate records and availability.
Assist in the setup and maintenance of lab environments for network testing and integration.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient lab operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve network equipment issues in a timely manner.
Adhere to all safety and security guidelines while handling network equipment.
● Skills & Abilities: Able to perform the required Physical Labor (i.e. unpack, stack & rack equipment, lifting, etc).
● Location: Onsite in Oklahoma City, OK
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
● Certification(s): Technical certifications or coursework in networking is a plus (i.e. Network+, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, JNCIA-Junos, AWS, VMWare, Microsoft, etc)

U.S. Citizenship Required
The likely hourly rate for this position is between $29.75 - $40.25. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
