Contracts Administrator Advisor

Our work depends on Contracts Administrator Advisor joining our team to provide support and counsel to our program and proposal teams while ensuring GDIT's compliance with contractual terms and conditions and applicable law.

HOW A CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Conducts negotiation and administration of government contracts
  • Provides advice on contract terms and conditions and applicable legal requirements, including but not limited to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
  • Interacts with program managers, finance staff, subcontract professionals and others in a highly collaborative environment to ensure compliance and mission success
  • Collaborates with other Contracts team members as needed for guidance and camaraderie
  • Administers contracts through negotiation, correspondence, documentation, certification, financial reporting, and product delivery
  • Reviews solicitation requests
  • Coordinates contract requirement fulfillment with programs
  • Prepares and submits cost proposals
  • Provides contractual support in proposal development
  • May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
  • May serve as a team or task lead

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree. In lieu of degree, 12+ years of related experience in Contracts Administration required.
  • Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience in Contracts Administration
  • Required Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Security Clearance Level: None required
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Advanced knowledge of contracts administration practices, procedures and processes. Advanced knowledge of relevant laws and regulations such as FAR, DFARS, and CAS. Effective administrative and organizational skills. Effective communication skills.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience with negotiation and administration of government contracts. Effective presentation and business writing skills.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $83,429 - $103,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
