Own your opportunity to work alongside federal civilian agencies. Make an impact by providing services that help the government ensure the well being of U.S. citizens.
Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as an Epidemiologist (Integrated Biosurveillance) supporting the Armed Forces Heath Surveillance Division (AFHSD). GDIT is your place to make meaningful contributions to challenging projects and grow a rewarding career.
At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an Epidemiologist our work depends on providing our clients with the data they need to make important decisions that impact the world around us. You will be engaged in the analysis of very large datasets to estimate the incidence and prevalence of disease and injury in military populations.
The Epidemiologist (Integrated Biosurveillance) position supports Alert and Response Operations (ARO) within the Integrated Biosurveillance (IB) section of the AFHSB. ARO monitors multiple biosurveillance data sources to detect and report on all-hazard events (e.g. emerging and re-emerging infectious disease and environmental threats) that are relevant to the health of military personnel. ARO provides comprehensive, near-real time health surveillance, DoD public health threat assessment and situational awareness in support of force health protection.
