Job Description

Join GDIT as an ITSM Incident Management Analyst, where you'll leverage ITIL practices and ServiceNow to ensure efficient resolution of IT incidents. Your role will expand to include monitoring duties, enhancing our ability to preemptively address issues before they impact our extensive enterprise customer base.

Responsibilities:

  • Triage, prioritize, and manage incident and change tickets, ensuring quality and timely resolution.
  • Monitor IT systems, networks, servers, and applications to identify and resolve issues proactively.
  • Work closely with Incident Managers and cross-functional teams to address and resolve incidents, ensuring effective communication.
  • Develop and refine Incident Management and monitoring procedures, driving continuous improvement.
  • Document incidents and solutions clearly; escalate critical incidents as needed.
  • Analyze trends in alerts and performance to prevent future incidents.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proficient in ITIL frameworks and ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM application.
  • 3+ years in systems administration, preferably in government or intelligence sectors.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts to cover 24/7 operations.

Certification:

  • CompTIA Security+ required.

Education:

  • BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $100,175 - $135,530. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
