Job Description

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. We are seeking an Analytical, detail-oriented and highly motivated Logistics Analyst with Warehouse Management (WM) experience using the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on supporting the conversion and optimization of Plant 2230 from an Inventory Management (IM) plant to a Warehouse Management (WM) plant, ensuring efficient warehouse operations at the storage bin level. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining and improving warehouse processes, ensuring compliance with SMA protocols, and supporting critical deliverables within the supply chain.

 *Note: This is a NON TESA Position, candidate is subject to register with the local German Government Employment Office, obtain German work permit, German TAX ID, Pay German taxes, German Health Insurance, Pass German Background investigation. There is No Relocation, Living Allowance or Logistical Support.

How the Logistics Modernization Program Analyst will make an impact:

· Configure and maintain WM plant operations, focusing on Plant 2230.

· Support the transition from IM to WM, optimizing material flow within the supply chain.

· Monitor warehouse activities using the Warehouse Activity Monitor (LL01).

· Manage critical warehouse tasks, including unconfirmed transfer orders, open transfer requirements, posting change notices, and critical deliveries.

· Create, display, and confirm transfer orders (LT01, LT12, LT21, LT23, LT24).

· Process transfer requirements and posting change notices (LB03, LB11, LT04, LU03, LU04).

· Perform physical inventory and cycle counting using ECC WM transactions (LX26, LI11N, LI14, LI20).

· Address negative and interim stock balances, ensuring timely resolution.

· Utilize ZIGO for unexpected receipts and Stock Transport Orders (STO).

· Ensure data accuracy by validating inventory counts and addressing discrepancies.

What you'll need to be successful:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, and 4 years of related experience (one year of military experience may be substituted for one year of academic requirements to fulfill the bachelor's degree requirement).

· Extensive knowledge and certifications in the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) with an emphasis on Plant 2230 Warehouse Management.

· Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously, keep detailed records, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

· Proven experience in Warehouse Management and Inventory Management systems.

· Strong knowledge of SAP WM and ECC transactions.

· Ability to analyze data and monitor warehouse activities effectively.

· Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written).

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Valid US and German driver's license.

· An active U.S. government SECRET clearance.

· A current U.S. passport with more than 2 years remaining before expiration and at least 4 consecutive blank pages for visa stamps.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with military logistics and ARMY SMA protocols.

· Familiarity with LMP roles and transactions.

· Knowledge of transfer order processes, cycle counting, and inventory reconciliation.

· Knowledge of Global Combat Support System (GCSS)-Army. Familiar with Army Logistics - Production Control - Property management.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $60,174 - $74,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
