HOW A COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific engineering projects.
Develops solutions to a variety of engineering problems of moderate scope and complexity.
Performs systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end.
Oversight of moderately complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
Performs systems modeling, simulation, and analysis.
Performs continual maintenance of security, including backup and redundancy strategies.
Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects.
Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: BS/BA or Equivalent experience
Required Experience: 4+ Years’ related experience
Required Technical Skills: CompTIA Security+ (or DoDD 8140 IAT II Compliance)
Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent written communication and technical documentation skills
Location: On Customer Site, Washington, District of Columbia
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 2+ years of experience

The likely salary range for this position is $76,690 - $101,200. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
