Job Description
GDIT is seeking an ICAM Engineer to provide support for the Defense Enterprise Office Solution (DEOS) Cloud Service Offering contract.   

The ICAM Engineer will work as part of the ICAM team alongside engineers, consultants, managers and vendors to ensure successful authentication and authorization to Office 365 and other services.  

This position is 100% remote.

How an ICAM Engineer will make an impact:
  • Leverage experience with installation, deployment and configuration of ICAM tools and solutions to support the design and implementation of an ICAM solution. 
  • Demonstrate experience scoping, defining and implementing Identity lifecycle management concepts and processes with Identity and Access Management tools and solutions in areas such as: Identity Provisioning, Privileged Access Management, Role Based Access Controls, Device Management & Identity syncing.  
  • Determine and identify high level functional and technical requirements based on interactions with the user community and knowledge of the enterprise architecture. Identify, assess, and present options for meeting the functional and technical requirements including hardware and software updates or upgrades. 
  • Design architectures to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces. 
  • Provide top-level technical expertise, including performing in-depth and complex software systems programming and analysis. 
  • Ensure systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for DoD architectures. 
  • Interact with project management to plan project schedules and technical direction. 
  • Develop software design documents and technology white papers and is instrumental in selection of development tools. 
  • Responsible for developing high level system design diagrams, testing, and documentation. 
  • Follow software development best practices to facilitate collaboration, feature enhancement, issue tracking, testing, development, and production deployment.
  • Responsible for quality assurance review and the evaluation of existing and new software products.
  • Instructs, directs, and checks the work of other task personnel. 
  • Investigate, analyze and resolve of customer ICAM issues.  
  • Provide documentation when required such as assessment reports (findings / recommendations), Runbooks, Build Specifications, Configuration & troubleshooting guides.
  • Support network and conditional access configurations that enable controlled network access to services in on premises and cloud environments. 
  • Recommend and implement system enhancements that improve the performance, security (data integrity), and reliability of the system.
  • Review existing repositories and delivery methodologies and recommend optimizations or alternative DevSecOps platform(s) and protocols to enhance long-term sustainment.

What you’ll need to succeed (Required):
  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 10 years’ experience required.  An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Active Secret security clearance required.
  • IAT Level II certification required.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with ICAM servicing of large-scale environments.
  • Experience with REST API and PowerShell.
  • Expertise in implementing, ideally for DoD customers, including the following: working with DoD and enterprise PKI and directory architecture, windows and Unix experience in an DoD or government enterprise environment, experience with containerization technologies (Docker and/or Kubernetes), Identity Management and Authentication/Authorization integration (e.g. Active Directory, SAML, LDAP, MFA, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, PKI, directory synchronization, identity federation, etc.), and using products from vendors such as Microsoft, Okta, SailPoint, Ping Identity, and Radiant Logic.
  • Experience with commercial cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Experience with COTS product integration – configuration and integration/development/scripting with vendor components in customer environments.
  • Experience with languages/protocols such as PowerShell, Java and Python.
  • Demonstrated ability to actively manage project risks and issues to close technical gaps in the project.

  • Experience with Agile software development is a plus.
  • Experience with DevSecOps concepts, tools and automation skills.
  • Experience configuring and/or utilizing monitoring/logging solutions.
  • Experience troubleshooting issues related to storage and/or networking.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $148,750 - $201,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
