Job Description

Knowledge Manager, Sr (Web Designer-Web Services) 

 

Our work depends on a Senior-level Knowledge Manager (Web Designer-Web Services), to serve in support of defense analytical and administrative requirements for a Combatant Command (CCMD), Joint Intelligence Operations Center (JIOC). 

 

HOW A SENIOR-LEVEL KNOWLEDGE MANAGER (WEB DESIGN) WILL MAKE AN IMPACT 

  • Coordinate with project stakeholders and developers to gather user requirements. 
  • Design graphic elements and build navigation components with user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) in mind. 
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems as necessary. 
  • Build well-designed, smart user interfaces and innovative data visualization using applications such as CSS, Bootstrap, and Adobe Creative Suite. 
  • Plan and execute intuitive and effective flows and experience in support of IT systems, programs, and processes. 
  • Provide support in illustrating ideas to include graphic designs, sketches, storyboards, process flows, and site maps. 
  • Gather user requirements, design graphic elements, and build navigation components in IT systems. 
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of the intersection between user needs, technology requirements, and business goals. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:  

  • Security Clearance Level: TS / SCI, with polygraph eligibility. 
  • US Citizenship Required  
  • Desired Education and Experience: Master’s degree with 5 yrs related experience or Bachelor’s degree with a total of 7 yrs experience as a substitute to the Master’s degree. At least a portion of your experience must be in the last 2 yrs. 
  • Required:  Proficiency with data visualization software.  Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices. Strong communication skills.   
  • Preferred: USCENTCOM experience.  Experience supporting intelligence customer(s).

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $94,676 - $128,092. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
