HOW A TEST ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Ensures the security and effectiveness of our products and systems.
  • Conducts comprehensive testing of cybersecurity systems and products to ensure their security and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement test plans and procedures based on industry standards and best practices.
  • Identify and report any vulnerabilities or weaknesses in cybersecurity systems or products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues found during testing.
  • Stay up to-date on the latest cyber threats and incorporate them into testing strategies.
  • Generate detailed reports and documentation of test results, including recommendations for improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and findings.
  • Utilize technical expertise to propose and implement solutions for improving cybersecurity systems.
  • Participate in design and code reviews to ensure security is built into the development process.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and procedures.
  • Adhere to all DIA and DoD for cybersecurity and testing.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Required Education and Experience: BS + 5 years
  • Certifications: DoD Manual 8570.01-M at the Information Assurance Technical (IA T) Level I role
  • Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a CI Polygraph
  • Location: On Customer Site

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $88,275 - $118,524. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
