Manages training professionals who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments.
Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
Develops and administers schedule, performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities.
Identifies training needs and priorities by working with business leaders and critical stakeholders
Understands organizational objectives.
Assists with the development of team strategy and responsible for strategy execution.
Assist with vendor relationships.
Assists with stakeholder engagement.
Leads and supports department and divisional projects
Strategically analyzes metrics to understand training impact and critically design evaluations programs that measure effectiveness of training program
Leads assessment activities, provides detailed analysis and diagnoses training inefficiencies along with synthesizing research findings, leading to the creation of solution-oriented measures that will improve training programs
Leads strategy and decision making processes addressing various complexities and challenges pertaining to the training platforms, processes and programs
SCOPE: Manages one or more small to medium sized teams focused on a few or multiple areas. Low to Medium complexity.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience, OSHA 5400 Maritime Trainer Authorization required, Forklift and CPR certified trainer preferred, Maritime experience required. Working knowledge of NAVSEA Standard Items required.

The likely salary range for this position is $72,509 - $97,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
