Job Description

USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety.

ISSM: Performs oversight of the development, implementation and evaluation of information system security program policy; with a special emphasis placed upon integration of existing SAP network infrastructures. Develops and oversees operational information systems security implementation policy and guidelines of network security, based upon the Risk Management Framework (RMF). Advises USSTRATCOM on Risk Management Framework (RMF) assessment and authorization issues. Performs risk assessments and make recommendations to USSTRATCOM. Develops and maintains a formal Information Systems Security Program. Develops policies and procedures for responding to security incidents, to include investigating and reporting security violations and incidents.

Location: Onsite - Offutt AFB, Nebraska - Relocation may be available

Clearance: Must be willing to obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility

Desired: Certified Authorization Professional (CAP) (specializes in RMF implementation and authorizations) or GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC)

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $144,410 - $195,378. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
