Job Description

Our work depends on Quantum Scientist / Engineer to serve as a technical subject matter expert (SME) in Quantum Engineering, to provide specialized knowledge and expertise in the field of quantum technologies, supporting system engineering and documentation processes.

HOW A SCIENTIST EXPERT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Initiates and executes scientific research and/or development studies
● Analyzes problems and applies theoretical techniques to develop solutions
● Software & hardware development – algorithms and applications, programming, testing, evaluations – integrating with classic computers, etc.)

● Provide subject matter expertise in quantum engineering, offering insights into emerging technologies and their potential applications within government platforms

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● A master's degree or PhD in Quantum Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or System Engineering is required
● Fifteen (15) years' recent and relevant experience, including strategic technical oversight of projects

● Experience in quantum sensing with a strong understanding of system engineering principles and documentation requirements

● Proven track record of working integrating technical solutions with government platforms

● Proficiency in developing and presenting technical documentation, including quad charts, technical reports, and performance metrics

● Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, actionable recommendations

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders and Quantum Science

● Location: Remote or Hybrid
● US Citizenship Required
● Security Clearance Level: Not required to start; willingness to obtain

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $170,427 - $230,577. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
