Our work depends on the right PeopleSoft Developer Sr Advisor joining our team to develop/modify solutions for our PeopleSoft environment in support of our customers by providing a system that facilitates their daily work.  The PeopleSoft Developer Sr Advisor will implement solutions utilizing the wide variety of PeopleSoft development tools that allow our customers to work effectively in the tool.


HOW A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER SR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Researches, designs, develops, tests, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software
  • Applies advanced knowledge to all phases of the software development lifecycle
  • Applies advanced knowledge to analyze user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems to meet those needs
  • Applies advanced knowledge to software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging to meet business needs
  • Provides advance analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, or status
  • Provides advanced guidance on the software or system for optimal documentation and future maintenance and updates
  • May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
  • May serve as a team or task lead


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience and training
  • In-depth understanding of PeopleSoft architecture and application suite
  • 8+ years of experience working with PeopleSoft HCM and/or Payroll applications including:
    • PeopleSoft 9.2 HCM and/or Payroll data models
    • PeopleTools 8.61 or later
    • Oracle or similar relational database required
    • Demonstrated experience with SQL performance tuning and optimization
    • PeopleCode, Application Engine, Workflow, Component Interfaces, PS Query and SQR
    • Process Scheduler, Data Mover, and Import Manager
    • Experience in planning, implementation and design of PeopleSoft customizations and integrations
    • Experience writing complex conversions bringing data into PeopleSoft from acquisitions
    • Strong troubleshooting skills and demonstrated ability to lead high-visibility efforts
    • Excellent interpersonal, written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with end users
    • Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop initiatives, as well as recommend solutions to improve efficiency
    • Self-starter with excellent time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently with ease, while maintaining a strong focus on detail

Preferred Experience:

  • North American payroll processes including tax updates, year-end processing, reverse/adjustments, overpayments and garnishments
  • Development experience utilizing XML Publisher, BI Publisher, Crystal Reports, App Messaging and Fluid pages
  • Working knowledge in setting up PeopleSoft Security and maintaining of Security Admin Configurations (permissions and roles)
  • Experience working with technical aspects of PeopleSoft security and troubleshooting security related access and row level security issues
  • Strong experience with multiple PeopleSoft application and tools upgrades

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $136,207 - $184,279. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
