Job Description

GDIT's Military Health team is hiring an Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist to care for service members, veterans and their families located at Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, VA. We have various openings available:

  • PRN Evening Shift
  • Full Time / PRN Night Shift
  • PRN Weekends

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Possess and maintain a current registration as a Radiological Technologist with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with a subspecialty certification as Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist as determined by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Must be working as a full time MRI technologist of at least eighteen (18) continuous months within the preceding twenty-four (24) months, to include experience with digital imaging and electronic Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
  • Possess experience operating MRI equipment at a 1.5T or 3.0T field strength.
  • Possess ARRT approved continuing medical education of at least 12 hours within the last 12 months.
  • Active BLS from either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $30.27 - $36.70. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
