Contracts Administrator Sr. Advisor

Our work depends on Contracts Administrator Sr. Advisor joining our team to support the fast paced growing portfolio of a very diverse suite of federal civilian agencies of our DELTA+ business sector (Diplomacy, Environmental Protection Agency, Law Enforcement, Treasury Agencies, National Aeronautics and Space Administration and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration +) in developing proposals, program contract activities, and customer engagement. The ideal individual will be experienced in administering complex IT contracts and task orders; have expertise in risk and OCI assessments; have an ability to apply strategic solutions to address business and programmatic risks, as well as identifying and analyzing complex contract matters. This position requires a clear communication style with contractual knowledge and strong business and customer acumen.

HOW A CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR SR. ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • ​Ensures contractual compliance with relevant terms and conditions and compliance with designated management objectives
  • Work with programs to help identify scope creep and changes
  • Negotiates contracts, including price, terms, and conditions, and reviews subsequent contractual documents for legal sufficiency prior to execution.
  • Serves as point of contact with internal departments concerning specific contract questions, issues, and problems
  • Reviews requests for proposals and participates in proposal color reviews
  • Reviews and approves solicited and unsolicited proposals for submission to customers
  • Reviews and negotiates various types of agreements 
  • Interprets contractual work requirements and obligations
  • Makes recommendations regarding contract implementation
  • Maintains knowledge of relevant contractual procedures and practices
  • Participates in special projects as required



WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree. In lieu of degree, 14+ years of related Contracts Administration experience required.
  • Required Experience: 10+ years of related Contracts Administration experience
  • Required Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Security Clearance Level: None
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as, advanced analytical, critical thinking, and negotiation abilities. Highly experienced with various contract types. Experience supporting award-term contracts. Advanced Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and customer agency supplements. Ability to operate and negotiate independently.
  • Location: This is a hybrid role working at either of our GDIT Facility located in Falls Church, VA or Huntsville, AL. This position requires working onsite 3 days a week minimum.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $110,614 - $135,700. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
