Our work depends on a Senior Project Manager joining our team to support the Department of State contract leading surge projects and optional task order support.

As a Senior Project Manager supporting the Department of State IRM program, you will be trusted to lead a wide variety of special projects, surge, and optional task order. The Continuous Service Improvement Manager shall be responsiblefor implementing improvements across the program including service and process improvements and

interfacing with process/service owners/managers that are responsible for delivery of those services/practices/processes with the customer.  In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Working with the PM, program staff and corporate support to response to government directed optional task and directed surge support work as well as internal directed projects.
  • Developing technical response, staffing plans, costs in response to government solicitations.
  • Providing technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned project or task(s). 
  • Reviewing status of projects and budgets, manages schedules, and prepares status reports.
  • Assessing project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. 
  • Tracking scope, cost, schedule, and performing assigned project or task(s). 
  • Managing/directing resources required to perform assigned project or task(s).
  • Providing technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned projects, including contract and subcontractor management.
  • Supervise assigned staff, includes subordinate supervisors and managers.
  • Leading project staff from matrixed organizations
  • Develops technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.
  • Conduct planning and provide recommendations to client on project requirements.
  • Manage risk tracking process for assigned projects. 
  • Attend customer meetings and serves as primary client liaison.
  • Work with vendors, other organizations and agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.
  • Coordinate development of deliverables and products.
  • Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
  • Participate in special projects as required.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • BA / BS required
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Secret Clearance (Top Secret preferred)
  • Program Management Professional preferred
  •  ITIL Intermediate Level Certified
  • Experience driving process improvements, baselining, and tracking service improvements and reporting gained efficiencies on a contract/TO like the requirements in the RFQ.
  • SAFe v6 Agilist
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $134,895 - $182,505. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
