HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE AS A LOGISTICS ANALYST

As a Logistics Analyst, you'll apply your expertise in government property administration, inventory control, and logistics to maintain seamless operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Inventory Control & Compliance: Ensuring adherence to inventory distribution and control procedures, maintaining accurate records of material receipt and distribution to meet compliance standards.
  • Warehouse Management: Overseeing receiving, storing, issuing, and delivering materials, as well as organizing and maintaining clean and functional warehouse spaces.
  • Procurement Coordination: Monitoring procurement activities, managing inbound/outbound projections, and ensuring effective resource scheduling and asset availability.
  • Audit Preparation: Generating government-required reports and serving as a key representative during audits.
  • Subcontractor and Vendor Collaboration: Managing timelines, shipping, and receipt of equipment while ensuring smooth coordination with external partners.
  • Property Accountability: Establishing procedures for annual inventory control, ensuring 100% accountability, and implementing processes that comply with government regulations.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Tracking inventory metrics to optimize storage and distribution, and maintaining sufficient inventory levels.
  • Specialized Tasks: Preparing equipment for transport, conducting sanitization and disposal, and utilizing tools and equipment like forklifts, pallet handlers, and hand trucks.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Education & Experience:
    • 5+ years of related experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience)
    • Expertise in logistics, inventory control, and supply chain management
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and government logistics systems
    • Experience with tools like Service+, IFS, SC360, or PSAM is highly desired
  • Certifications & Licenses:
    • TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Ability to operate box trucks up to 24 feet and climb ladders up to 12 feet
  • Physical Demands:
    • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
    • Willingness to work in an office/warehouse setting with potential for CONUS/OCONUS travel

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $66,602 - $88,839. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
