IT Planner & SchedulerTampa, FLONSITE ROLEJob Description:
GDIT is looking for an IT Planner & Scheduler to maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for the USCENTCOM CITS Program supporting the USCENTCOM J6 in Tampa, FL.Duties and Responsibilities:Serving on the Integrated Master Schedule team for the CITS program, the Scheduler will be an expert on Microsoft Project schedule tool to maintain a resource loaded IMS that is integrated, logical, and network-based for the CITS program.Maintain a monthly planning calendar to aid in the updating of the IMS. Establish and maintain communication with stakeholders.Prepare event schedules and reports as required.Maintains schedules for each active task, all projects, site locations, and overall performance against the schedule, with a roll-up of the entire TO effort.Develop tools to modernize and automate the Integrated Master Schedule.Education and/or Certifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related discipline with 5+ years of experience maintaining large and complex program schedules of similar size and scope.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Project scheduling tool.
Desired:
  • Agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • ITIL 4 Foundation Certification.
  • Other industry recognized technical/business certifications (e.g. PMP, CAPM, etc.).
Required Skills:
  • Should be an expert in using Microsoft Project schedule tool.
  • Ability to analyze schedule forecast and resource management.
  • Maintain complex project and resource schedules in a diverse and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to support the decomposition of IT projects into a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
  • 3-5 years of integrated scheduling experience using Microsoft Project and Excel.
  • Work with multiple Project Managers in different groups to coordinate Project Life Cycles.
  • Maintain Resource-Loaded schedules for multiple Major IT Projects.
  • Maintain schedules and data to support contract management and administrative oversight to achieve the requirements of the program.
  • Establish and maintain effective customer relationships.
  • Good interpersonal, analytical, and communication (written and verbal) skills.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with USCENTCOM and familiarity with its mission
  • Knowledge of USCENTCOM’s products and services, customer requirements, purpose and structure of required documentation, and end user’s level of understanding

Clearance and Travel Requirements:
  • Secret Required
  • TS/SCI eligibility required
  • Less than 10% travel

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $92,331 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
