GDIT is looking for an IT Planner & Scheduler to maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for the USCENTCOM CITS Program supporting the USCENTCOM J6 in Tampa, FL.

We have an opportunity for an IT Planner and Scheduler Analyst to join our team as we provide management tools to the client to support program management objectives. Located at U.S. CENTCOM at MacDill Airforce base in Tampa, FL you'll work with program leadership to monitor schedule, resource utilization and performance of multiple projects using Microsoft Project while having daily interactions with multiple client stakeholders. The real power of program analysis comes from communication, so you'll create the tools necessary to inform the client and make recommendations for improvement to program leadership. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you'll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools. This is a chance to directly impact the client organization by contributing to program strategy and helping to eliminate risks across projects. Join us and help make sure our critical program stays on time and within budget as we improve the acquisition life cycle for a new program.Duties and Responsibilities:Serving on the Value Management Office team, you will be an expert using Microsoft Project schedule tool to maintain a resource loaded IMS that is integrated, logical, and network-based for the CITS program. Establish and maintain communication with stakeholders. Prepare event schedules and reports as required. Maintains schedules for each active task, all projects, site locations, and overall performance against the schedule, with a roll-up of the entire program effort. Develop tools to modernize and automate the Integrated Master Schedule.You (should) have:
  • 3+ years of experience building, managing, and maintaining program master schedules using Microsoft Project, Milestone Professional, or scheduling software.

  • 2+ years of experience preparing Integrated master schedules supporting DoD Acquisition Programs, federal agency scheduling efforts, or vehicle system development.

  • Ability to analyze schedule forecast and resource management and work with a diverse group of stakeholders to achieve a common goal and document the interdependencies.

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
  • Ability to apply Earned Value Management (EVM) best practices to assess program cost, schedule, and performance.

  • Agile and waterfall methodologies.

  • ITIL 4 Foundation Certification.

  • Other industry recognized technical/business certifications (e.g. PMP, CAPM, etc.).

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $92,331 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
