The Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) F-35 IT program support contract provides knowledge-based, information assurance and cybersecurity IT services to the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (JPO). Our services include program management, enterprise performance management, enterprise architecture, implementation of emerging capabilities and requirements, life cycle management, operations & maintenance, enterprise data management, service desk support and IT training.
HOW OUR CYBER SECURITY LIAISON WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Primary responsibilities are to maintain situational awareness and initiate actions that will improve or restore cybersecurity posture by acting as the single liaison between the unit and the Wing Cybersecurity Office.
Provide oversight to ensure established cybersecurity policies and procedures are followed within the organization.
Read all WCO emailed correspondence to discover if there is any action they need to take to remain compliant.
Develop, implement, oversee, and maintain an organization cybersecurity program that identifies cybersecurity requirements, personnel, processes, and procedures.
Implement and enforce all Air Force cybersecurity policies and procedures using the guidance within this instruction and applicable specialized (COMPUSEC and TEMPEST) cybersecurity publications. NOTE: This includes policies created and signed by the 96 CS/CC.
Assist the wing cybersecurity office in meeting their duties and responsibilities. Ensure all users receive cybersecurity refresher training on an annual basis. Ensure IT is acquired, documented, operated, used, maintained, and disposed of properly and in accordance with the IT’s security A&A documentation as prescribed by AFI 17-101, RMF for Air Force IT and AFMAN 17-1203, Information Technology (IT) Asset Management (ITAM).
Report cybersecurity incidents or vulnerabilities to the correct entity.
In coordination with the CFP, initiate protective or corrective measures when a cybersecurity incident or vulnerability is discovered.
Initiate requests for temporary and permanent exceptions, deviations, or waivers to cybersecurity requirements or criteria according to this instruction and applicable specialized cybersecurity publications.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED (Required):
Security Clearance Level: Secret clearance
Required Experience: 6 years
Required Technical Skills: 6 years of experience in designing and developing organizational information systems or upgrading legacy systems, employing best practices when implementing security controls within an information system including software engineering methodologies, system/security engineering principles, secure design, secure architecture, and secure coding techniques.
2 years of concurrent experience implementing and enforcing DoD cybersecurity policies and procedures.
Required Certification: (411) Technical Support Specialist – Basic
Education: BS or BA degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology. (Allowable Substitution: 6 years of related experience or 4 years of related experience with an AA/AS degree.)
Location: Onsite at Eglin AFB, FL

The likely salary range for this position is $80,226 - $98,900. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
