Job Description

Cyber Security Analyst Expert: HBSS/Trellix ePO Administrator/Engineer

Seeking a Senior ePO HBSS/ESS Administrator to help manage our HBSS centric IT Security Systems.

Person in this role will perform following types of functions:

  • Independently provides technical interpretation and solutions in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures.
  • Troubleshoots system hardware and software specific issues.
  • Trains end users on the proper use of hardware and software.
  • Performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.
  • Monitors and tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels.
  • Ensures workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions.
  • Independently ensures data/media recoverability by following a schedule of system backups and database archive operations.
  • Conducts hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
  • Ensures that performance and security of computers meet the needs of network users.
  • Applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
  • May evaluate existing systems and assist with planning long-term strategies.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: BA/BS (or equivalent experience in lieu of degree), DoD 8570/8140 IAT II baseline, DISA ESS courses (ESS 201, 301, 501), and CND-SP Infrastructure Support certifications (i.e.- CEH, CySA+, etc.).
  • Required Experience: 10+ years of total IT experience and 3+ years of HBSS/ESS heavy experience
  • Required Technical Skills: Administrator or Engineer level experience in Trellix full suite products
  • Security Clearance Level: Must have a current US SECRET Clearance with the ABILITY to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Required Skills and Abilities: solid written/oral communication, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Location: On Customer Site

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $153,000 - $207,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
