Job Description

How You Will Make an Impact:

As a Director Support Technician, you will provide dedicated, high-level IT support to the NGA Front Office and National GEOINT Operations Center (NGOC). You will be responsible for deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting essential end-user devices, ensuring seamless operations for critical national security missions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary IT liaison for the NGA Front Office and NGOC, engaging with senior leadership to address IT concerns, coordinate emerging requirements, and provide operational updates.
  • Deploy, maintain, and support a variety of end-user devices including workstations, secure tablets, VoIP devices, printers, and Desktop VTCs.
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, resolving IT incidents efficiently and escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Conduct user education and training, ensuring staff can effectively utilize IT resources.
  • Maintain documentation and SOPs to enhance team knowledge and streamline support operations.
  • Utilize ServiceNow to track, manage, and resolve IT requests and incidents.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
What You Bring to the Team:
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance (CI Poly eligibility required).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and expertise in:
    • Workstations (thin/thick clients)
    • Print, fax, and scan services
    • Voice and VTC support
    • Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
    • Patch management and software support
  • Experience with Windows 7, Windows 10, Citrix, SMS, SCCM, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and adapt to evolving technologies.
  • DoD 8570.01M certification (e.g., A+, Network+, Security+).
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 5+ years of relevant IT support experience.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $91,811 - $99,268. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
