Job Description

Our work depends on a Database / Systems Administrator joining our CNIC Applications Support team which provides system administration and development/maintenance support of Commander, Navy Installation Command (CNIC) applications (G2 OPS EIM Analyze). May support other CNIC applications as assigned.

HOW OUR DATABASE / SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) application teams to include systems engineering processes,

  • Information Assurance (IA), and cyber security. 

  • Perform SA, DBA, and development and maintenance activities for G2 and EIM Analyze projects as required. 

  • Support other CNIC applications on the contract as assigned.

  • Daily System/Database Checks

  • STIG Remediation

  • Distributing limited deployments list to N62

  • Patching (ad-hoc & routine)

  • ONV Password Resets

  • QA/PROD Deployments

  • Troubleshoot Tier II/III tickets impacting platform availability

  • Support for Ad-hoc requests from EIM teams

  • Coordinate with SDP via IssueTrak tickets

  • Support for G2 Platform Projects (Server Upgrades, Rollover Projects, SPO Migration, JBAB and Saratoga Re-Alignment)

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Security Clearance Level: Active Secret clearance with completed T5 Investigation

  • Required Experience:

  • 8 years of relevant IT experience

  • Experience managing Windows Servers/VMs at a datacenter.

  • Required Certifications: CompTIA Security+ CE

  • Education: BS Degree or equivalent Computer Science or IT related degree

  • Location: Remote

  • US Citizenship required

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $123,595 - $167,217. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
