Job Description

Join GDIT and be a part of the team of men and women that solve some of the world’s most complex technical challenges. We are in search of a COOP/DR Manager with operation and technical experience to support the DTRA I3TS program at Ft. Belvoir, VA.

This program provides enterprise-wide IT support to enable the customer to consolidate, modernize, and continuously innovate the delivery of IT services and mission capabilities. These services will deliver exceptional execution value to internal and external mission partners operating in CONUS and OCONUS locations. The COOP/DR Manager will:

  • Lead with an enhanced level of coordination between the mission partner’s development and testing activities, subsequent application software and infrastructure implementation, and on-going sustainment and operation of the computing environment within the DECCs. 
  • Contribute to design, build, test, and integration efforts for Service Oriented Architectures (Enterprise Integration Tier, Enterprise Service Bus, Security Standards Compliance, Business Process Orchestration, and Business Activity Monitoring)
  • Facilitate the integration design and architecture aspects and implementation of technical solutions as necessary. 
  • Provide liaison support for critical business systems – their primary ERP known as EBS (SAP) as well as non-ERP applications. 
  • Work with the program offices, and the technical team, to coordinate infrastructure O&M, moves, patches, upgrades, maintenance, etc. for DECC-Ogden-hosted applications; we are not hands-on implementers, we advise, coordinate, design, troubleshoot, and  maintain documentation for these systems and platforms. 

 Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • 5+ years of experience providing IT Enterprise Architecture solutions and support for mission critical Production ERP or similar systems, including experience with creation/migration/testing, and/or sustainment of a COOP/DR environment.
  • Security+
  • TS/SCI

  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or IT Contingency Planning experience
  • Certification: Certified Business Continuity Professional

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $97,063 - $131,321. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
