USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety.
ISSE: Performs analysis of network security, based upon the Risk Management Framework (RMF) with emphasize on Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG) authorization process. Provides expert support, research, and analysis of exceptionally complex problems, and processes relating to them. Provides expert level consultation and technical services on all aspects of Information Security. Assesses and mitigates system security threats/risks throughout the program lifecycle. Supports security planning, assessment, risk analysis, risk management, certification and awareness activities for system and networking operations. Recommends cybersecurity software tools and assists in the development of software tool requirements and selection criteria. Leads technical teams in implementation of predetermined long-range goals and objectives.
Required Certification: Security + or CASP+ or CCSP or Cloud+
Desired: Certified Authorization Professional (CAP) (specializes in RMF implementation and authorizations) or GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC)
Location: Onsite - Offutt AFB, Nebraska - Relocation may be available
Clearance: Must be willing to obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility

The likely salary range for this position is $144,410 - $195,378. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
