We are currently seeking a senior software developer to join our team in Washington, DC.

* US Citizenship is required with an active Top Secret/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly clearance

Required Skills:

  • Strong development experience required in the following technologies/areas: React, Java 8 (JEE development), Spring Framework 5+, Spring Boot 2, JavaScript/AJAX, Hibernate 5+, SQL/RDBMS (Oracle and PostgreSQL), RESTful Web Services, Apache Tomcat, Red Hat JBoss, Linux (RHEL, CentOS), Eclipse IDE, Maven build tool, and Git.

  • Strong User Interface (UI) developing skills using React and JavaScript application development. Additional experience required in the following technologies/areas: AWS (Console, RDS, S3, EBS, AMIs, IaaS).

  • Experience in full software development life cycle.

  • Experience with Agile and Scrum and Kanban frameworks/methodologies.

  • Experience with Atlassian tools to include Jira and Confluence.

  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools and automation.

  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

  • Excellent documentation skills.

  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.

  • Self-motivated with strong initiative to help team grow.

  • 5-7 years of experience with programming and software development including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting and/or upgrading of software systems.

  • Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications while maintaining 24/7 availability.

  • Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline, background w/ degree (Bachelor’s or Master's) in field.

  • Active Top-Secret Clearance. 

Duties:

  • The senior Full Stack Developer will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle for software development and the application in production. Includes the technical analysis of requirements, development of the software, automated testing, builds, deployment, monitoring, and feedback.

  • Work in conjunction with other government and contractor staff to assist in all facets of development and O&M for the application. 

  • Provide development and O&M support for a production Java application with an Oracle backend and Tomcat/JBoss application server during core working hours and non-core working hours as needed to meet mission needs. 

  • Provide development support to re-engineer an application front-end using React. 

  • Provide support which will include, but is not limited to, the gathering, analysis, and development of enhancement specifications/requirements provided by the system owner.  

  • Assist in supporting all aspects of the project to include all phases of life cycle development.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $110,500 - $149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
