Enterprise Senior Systems Administrator
GDIT seeks a highly motivated and experienced Enterprise Senior Systems Administrator to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Defense Stockpile Management System (DSMS) mission at Fort Belvoir, VA.
Essential Experience, Knowledge, Duties and Responsibilities:
Evaluate existing hardware/software systems to identify deficiencies and recommend performance improvements.
Deploy, monitor, and verify functionality of enterprise infrastructure hardware and software.
Diagnose and resolve infrastructure hardware, network, domain, and client service issues.
Coordinate enterprise infrastructure backup/recovery and Continuity of Operations (COOP) procedures and operations.
Review, test, deploy, maintain, and upgrade Windows based operating system software, databases, and services.
Plan and execute system security hardening activities in accordance with current requirements.
Basic experience of administrating Windows servers in a virtualized environment.
Basic knowledge of networking technologies and protocols.
Prior experience and knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) methodologies and processes.
Fundamental knowledge of RSA SecurID multifactor authentication and processes.
Research, plan, and brief Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) on enterprise infrastructure operating systems/applications with recommendation(s) of appropriate Course of Action (COA).
Review and provide updates to the Approved Software List (ASL).
Routinely review and remediate Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) reports of vulnerabilities on the enterprise infrastructure hardware/software.
Develop, maintain, implement, and report Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) on security deficiencies.
Author applicable Documented Risk Acceptance (DRA) documentation and brief the program Cybersecurity Team and/or Information System Security Manager (ISSM).
Advise Cybersecurity Team on all technical matters pertaining to enterprise infrastructure and services.
Audit, remediate or mitigate, and report Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) item status.
Plan, track, document, and communicate assigned project status.
Ability to work both independently and within a team.
Skillful time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines and balance numerous priorities.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience with DISA STIGs and their relation to Windows Operating Systems and application security.
Prior experience with PowerShell scripting and deployment.
Prior experience building, deploying, and administrating Windows Server 2016-2022.
Ability to install, configure, and upgrade hosted applications and services on Windows Server 2016-2022.
Experience working with Trellix Security Suite.
Minimum Education and Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or 8+ years of experience.
Required: DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, or SSCP).
Required: Minimum of a DoD Final Secret security clearance.

U.S. Citizenship Required
The likely salary range for this position is $123,250 - $166,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
